I still own that Nexus 4, but I've never experienced any SIM-related problems apart from the one I described here. It is quite possible that there is something wrong with your SIM.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15170826898937931524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-13636114007721085602017-02-02T00:44:10.193+00:002017-02-02T00:44:10.193+00:00not work for me, i buy a nexus 4 second hand in eb...not work for me, i buy a nexus 4 second hand in ebay, the seller said that he never had a problem with this, what can i do? i reset, wipe cache and data and same all, no sim card recognized, so, the sim try would be broken?nismohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00588132525613428059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-15366191882979120832017-01-19T07:32:37.675+00:002017-01-19T07:32:37.675+00:00Does not work for me.Does not work for me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08926979274916498936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-68742025252809176232015-11-08T10:17:35.937+00:002015-11-08T10:17:35.937+00:00You're a life saver man! You're a life saver man!mukul dagahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05698227912539772998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-2663854501478219312015-09-12T05:43:04.336+01:002015-09-12T05:43:04.336+01:00Got a nexus 4 from my mom - hand me down she got a...Got a nexus 4 from my mom - hand me down she got a new nexus 5. - So she had zero issues in 3 years . As soon as I start using it,
i take out her sim card, I put in mine. All good. 3 days later not sim card recognized. Got a new sim card.. same problems. A crucial piece for communication on a sell phone yet implemented so terribly. No one should be going through any nonsense like this. I have used a flip phone for many years with 1 sim card and it never failed me. Smart phones? Remember what the true definition of 'smart' is people. It means to 'ouch'. psychedeligoathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16377426535889870059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-19054231532378637932015-05-16T05:09:05.718+01:002015-05-16T05:09:05.718+01:00It worked for me .....i just put trasparent office...It worked for me .....i just put trasparent office tape at corner where it was touching the frame, and see problem is gone for ever...
thanks dear....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-55294639360266036822015-04-30T08:49:04.877+01:002015-04-30T08:49:04.877+01:00Seems to have worked for me too - thanks!Seems to have worked for me too - thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-70374746629211249832015-02-09T10:36:45.955+00:002015-02-09T10:36:45.955+00:00Thank you so much. that error was driving me crazy...Thank you so much. that error was driving me crazy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-59119962754609714542015-01-27T08:00:14.837+00:002015-01-27T08:00:14.837+00:00You saved me a dayYou saved me a dayAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17616587035405041926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6285450981634302817.post-52340481648752376062014-12-12T16:56:36.546+00:002014-12-12T16:56:36.546+00:00Excellent! I cant thank you enough!! Mine was touching the metal part at the bottom of the sim card..
And to think that I bought two Nexus 4 at the same time, one worked fine, the other would not detect the sim cards..
